We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a difference to children’s progress and attainment to join our school.
The roles will be supporting children in the classroom and will also include some individual pupil support.
The appointed candidates will have:
- A passion for learning that will inspire and motivate children to be independent thinkers.
- The highest expectations for achievement and behaviour.
- The ability to develop outstanding relationships with colleagues, children and parents.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ideally you will have recent experience of working in a school setting however full training will be given. GCSE Grade C (or grade 4/5) in English and Maths is required and a relevant qualification: NVQ 2 or similar is desirable.

Salary & Benefits
We have various opportunities available – Full-time or casual hours and these are fixed term until the 31st August 2026, to start as soon as possible. There may be the opportunity to extend the contract to a permanent position.
The hours of work will be Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.15pm, 29.00 hours per week. The salary will be Grade 6, Actual salary - £18,797 (£27,899 FTE) – 29.00 hours (term time only) and is dependent on experience.
We also have casual cover vacancies available and the hourly rate for this is £14.46 per hour. The casual hours will be to cover as required and you will be contacted in advance to book working hours. You could also be contacted to cover on the same day for any emergency cover.
